Boys & Girls Clubs Performing Arts Center
Help us support the building of a new Performing Arts Center at the Kingston Branch of the Boys and Girls Club.
The Fountain Valley Community Foundation has made a commitment to promote and raise funds for the building of a new Performing Arts and Martial Arts Center at the Kingston Branch of the Boys and Girls Club Huntington Valley in the FV Sports Park on Brookhurst. The “Clubhouse Academy” has been operating behind FV City Hall in a leased space for almost 20 years. It is now time to bring the program home to the Kingston Branch and to do that, we need your help.
What happens at the “Clubhouse Academy”? The world of performing arts as well as martial arts is made available to our youth and provides a place to belong, grow, perform, and learn. The arts are a great way to improve communication skills, build confidence, learn new skills, have fun and so much more. Programs are often free, low-cost, or attainable through a scholarship program.

Martial Arts

While developing strength and fitness, kids also learn confidence, responsibility, and the value of perseverance—skills that serve them both on and off the mat.
Theater/Music
Theater and music programs empower youth to find their voice, build self-confidence, and express their creativity. In a collaborative setting, kids strengthen communication and social skills while learning the joy of performing and connecting with others. These experiences foster a strong sense of belonging and personal growth that lasts far beyond the stage.
