Grant Application

The Fountain Valley Community Foundation is excited to work with Hyundai Motor America in the development and distribution of the Hyundai Motor America Community Grant Program.

Hyundai Motor America has a strong sense of corporate social responsibility focused on highlighting their commitment to Progress for Humanity and to create opportunities to advance that mission. The Hyundai Community Grants Program will further promote this sense of social responsibility, with a strong focus in STEM/STEAM and Sustainability wherever possible. STEM represents science, technology, engineering and math.

STEAM represents STEM plus the arts – humanities, language arts, dance, drama, music, visual arts, design and new media. STEAM investigates the same concepts as STEM, but does this through inquiry and problem-based learning methods used in the creative process.

Sustainability represents the ability to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. It addresses the global challenges we face, including electrification, energy security, fuel cell, and reforestation.

Other core values of Hyundai Motor America corporate social responsibility include but are not limited to disaster relief, health and food insecurity, and community support.

Please be prepared to demonstrate which of the above areas your organization falls into, and how you will benefit and use the grant should you receive it.

Funds from The Hyundai Community Grant program will be distributed through the Fountain Valley Community Foundation in accordance with set guidelines.
