The Fountain Valley Community Foundation and Pete’s friends want to thank Pete, his partner Roger Jensen, and the many volunteers for their years of service to the community. Pete Haak Memorial Fund

We regret that we have to say goodbye to our friend Pete Haak, who passed away on February 28, 2023. He will truly be missed. We will never forget his smile and willingness to volunteer. He loved the people and the city of Fountain Valley and was always sharing his talents, energy and love with the community. He and his Car Show team, after celebrating the City’s 50th anniversary, continued to support the Fountain Valley Community for over 13 years by holding the Annual FV Community Foundation Car Show to support the Foundation’s mission.

He was passionate about helping and tirelessly held food drives, delivered turkeys at Thanksgiving, taught some of your kids to swim and stepped up when there was a need.

In order to honor Pete, The FV Community Foundation and his friends set up a Memorial Fund in his name to be used for causes that Pete cared about. We also want to grant his wish and place a memorial bench in the Fountain Valley Sports Park to honor his community service.

The Foundation is a 501C3 and contributions are tax deductible. The Foundation will work with the city to have the bench placed as close as possible to where the car shows were held. Pete, the community and your friends thank you and your lovely wife Shelley for giving us so much to celebrate and remember.
